Alki Beach

We took a drive to Seattle on a nice September weekend. Sun was shining, but the misty white clouds didn't burn off until the afternoon. That didn't stop us from our having our first wildlife photo excursion! In fact, the haziness gave the photos a bit of a retro-look to them that I find intriguing.

We picked up a 300mm lens, because we wanted to see how much more zooming power we would be able to get, and if we would prefer it, so we tested out both lens on this little journey.

The view across the water.

Ah first wildlife to capture! The rare and elusive Seagull!

 Check out the action shot!

How many birds do you see?

The other rare and elusive bird of Washington.
